A Mac saves you time, and a PC saves you money. You’re welcome.
That is assuming that you don’t know how to use a computer and no one is helping you. It is also assuming you don’t have custom needs like “I want a super fast laptop with no fan” or “I want to play games on my computer.” So I’ll break it down further:
A Mac is better if…
- You want to run Logic Pro or Final Cut Pro
- You already know how to use one
- You want a computer with internal backup software that actually works
- You don’t care about playing games
- You want an easy to use computer
- You don’t need to do high end 3D rendering
- You want a super quiet computer with little or zero fan noise
- You never want to add memory or a bigger internal hard drive
A PC is better if…
- You want as much horsepower as you can get for not much money
- You enjoy playing computer games
- You need to do 3D rendering
- You want to run Windows-only software
- You want to be able to expand your computer in the future
- You already know Windows
Me? I prefer the Mac but I also run Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux in my house. I want to get a fast good PC to play around with. Probably run Reaper on it.
