I’m sure some folks have been wondering about my lack of posting here and on budgetguitarist.com and the two YouTube channels. Here’s the answer: Musically, nothing’s happening in my life right now. I think I used up a lot of rocket sauce making my last album, “False Alarm”, and now the music tanks are dry. I need to live a bunch to replenish them, but eventually it’ll happen.
The one thing I can say is that I found the band Badflower and I really like all three of their albums a lot. It’s the sort of stuff I’d love to be able to write, but I’m just plain not cool enough. Some of their songs are just brutal in their honesty and raw emotion, but they can also crank out catchy pop, like the song Detroit.
Anyway, I’m sure at some point I’ll blog about something related to keyboards. Just not today.
